About me

As the statutory partner for health, I joined the partnership as Executive Lead for Health in 2021. I began my career as an accredited Nursery Nurse working in education before progressing into Nursing. As a Registered Mental Health Nurse for over 30yrs I have held clinical, management and executive leadership positions in the NHS, working in hospital, community and forensic services. I have now worked in Hull for over 4yrs, previously with the Clinical Commissioning Group and more recently the Humber and North Yorkshire Integrated Care Board which is my current role.

I am passionate about ensuring services delivered are safe and of the highest quality standard for the local population of Hull. Important to this being the `voice` of others and the `lived experience` in both informing and shaping our work and the services we deliver. Having held previous senior roles in clinical governance I also bring to the partnership a wealth of experience in supporting the partnership in achieving robust assurance processes and a focus on continuous improvement.
