Hull Safeguarding Adults Partnership Board

Hull Safeguarding Adults Partnership logo

The Hull Safeguarding Adults Partnership Board (HSAPB) is a statutory board formed under the Care Act 2014. It consists of senior members from Hull City Council, Humberside Police and Hull NHS Clinical Commissioning Group.

The board is the strategic multi-agency lead body in Hull for the protection of safeguarding adults. It ensures all sectors have influence and involvement in keeping our most vulnerable safe across this city. It must -

  • publish a strategic plan
  • write an annual report
  • conduct a safeguarding adult review if an adult with care and support needs dies and abuse or neglect is suspected

Our vision

"Safeguarding Partners work together to enable people to live in safety, where our community has a culture that supports the protection of a person’s health, wellbeing and right to live free, from harm, abuse and neglect and promotes the views, wishes and beliefs of adults in any decisions made".
