To increase professionals’ awareness of the issues relating to online risks to children and young people and how to safeguard them.

Learning outcomes
  • Identify benefits and risks to children and young people in using current and emerging technologies
  • Identify how to promote and improve safe online access
  • Recognise their responsibilities in relation to online safety for children and young people
