Adult Safeguarding Week
Adult Safeguarding Week runs every year. It aims to raise awareness and highlight the importance to the public and professionals about different safeguarding practices
After the success of Safeguarding Week 2025, we have once again teamed across the safeguarding partnerships of North Yorkshire, the City of York, Kingston Upon Hull and East Riding to take part in Safeguarding Week. The week will take place 15 - 19 June.
As per previous years the main theme will be “safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility” with an emphasis on how we can work together.
In a similar format to last year, we have developed a programme for both professional and public audiences covering a wide variety of safeguarding themes looking at both adult and child safeguarding. The sessions will be delivered virtually at varying times throughout the day to accommodate attendees’ working day or evening activities.
The East Riding SAB website is hosting the weeks programme. For more information, and to book tickets, please see the Safeguarding Week June 2026 – Programme of Events.
