Welcome to the June edition of the Hull Safeguarding Children Partnership (HSCP) newsletter.

We really appreciate the information continually shared with the HSCP which contributes to raising awareness about all the multi-agency safeguarding work which is taking place every day to improve the lives of children, young people, and their families.

This newsletter details a host of activity taking place across the partnership to safeguard and support children and information to support practice.

We are pleased to announce that during Safeguarding Week, which begins on Monday 16 June 2025. The HSCP have worked with partners to offer an extensive programme of learning events, seminars and interactive sessions which all underpin this year’s theme - “Safeguarding is everybody’s business”. A programme of free online sessions is available and detailed within this newsletter. 

This newsletter details a host of information, including information on Carers Week, Child Safety Week, Community Fraud, Private Fostering and information on our health partners. Additionally, there is information on the summer activities taking place across the Family Hubs.  

The Early Help Partnership is offering a series a webinars throughout the year on various topics, to book your place please see the link within the newsletter.

A conference is taking place on Monday 23 June 2025, hosted by Crossroads ‘Engaging the Invisible Man - Working to keep women and children safe’  to reserve your space, please access the link within the newsletter.
